Spring has sprung. Springtime is the hiring season for many industries such as landscape and lawn care, tree service, florists, construction, pest control, spring-break service providers such as hotels and airlines, and many others. The Ohio New Hire Reporting Center reminds all employers to report their employees who are hired over the next few months. All newly hired employees must be reported, whether they are full-time, part-time, or temporary employees, within 20 days of their hire date. Employers who submit reports electronically are required to submit their reports in two monthly transmissions not more than 12-16 days apart.
